How we're making this site work for everyone, and how to reach us if it doesn't.
NCPSA wants ncpsa.org to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our goal is for the site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and used by state and federal agencies. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project, and we review the site as content is added and changed.
We're aware of a few areas that may not yet meet the standard, and we're working on them:
If you have trouble using any part of ncpsa.org, or if you'd like information from the site in another format, please tell us. Let us know which page or document you were using and what happened, and we'll work with you to provide the information in a form that works for you.
National Council for Private School Accreditationncpsa.org is built with standard HTML, CSS, and a small amount of JavaScript, and it's designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with common screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS. The site doesn't require JavaScript to read its content. We test with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility tools as pages are updated.
